How it’s done
Flower is made with a lastra, which is a clay plate, modeled in a handmade way.
After its first cooking, it is painted with its own paints, the glazed ones. It goes back to the furnace at the melting temperature of the glass which in this case is 1000 º.
Finally, it can be fitted to an iron holder that is suitable for standing, or suspended on the wall as a frame. Whatever the modality, its size and color, has a great visual impact that brings into the house the freshness and joy of spring in bloom.

Where I inspire
I inspire myself in the flowers. They bind us to affections and also to the natural elements of diversity and beauty of life. With the creation of these pieces I also intend to invoke their respect and preservation. Their color and shape have a force that carries nature into the interior of their home.
By developing the creation of this flower, I connect to the cycles of time, since the antiquity that the flower is associated with concepts of renewal of life and beauty.

I like to work the mud. It gives me great pleasure to exploit your plasticity that allows and keeps the gesture in it printed along the way of searching the part. This millennial artistic material, expands to strengthen my creativity, as well as I feel that I continue to endless generations of ceramists who throughout the ages have worked and with them create pieces of great symbolic value and utility.
